A Study on the Recognitio of Students, Teachers and Parents about Harmful Environmental around Schools

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for establishing the countcrplan of school education environment protection, by comparing and analyzing the cognition of students, teachers and parents about the environments around the middle and high schools.
A questionnairc was administered to the oriented toward nationally-based simple groups of 2,11-1 students, 70.5 teachers and 1,5131 parents in June to July, 2(XX).
The results were as follows :
1) The cognition of students, teachers and parents about the harmful school environment purification late and regulations was relatively low - below 205. On the other hand the affirmative response percentage to the (aucstion about the necessity of the relevant law and regulations were necessary relatively high - 75.59/6 of middle school students, 70.7?6 of high school students, 93.3`¢¥5 of leachers and 86.0`.%5 of parents. Largely, SLudents(82.7"5), teachers(97.9"-5) acrd parents(94.70¢¥) thought that the profits of harmful stores which are located around schools should be limited for students¢¥ sound development and growth.
2) Nliddle school students (52.536) and high school students(58.5%) answered that the range of school clean zone must be expanded by school environment purification law and regulations. But the percentage of the response that the range of school clean zone must be restricted was very low - 3.4% of middle school students and 1.3915 of high school students. Teachers and parents also agreed that the range of school clean zone must be expanded .
The affin-native response percentage of teachers was highest - 70.1560 and in case of parents, 69.8 percentage of the total respondents answered so.
3) Game rooms(69.5%), internet game rooms(61.4%), Karaokes(60.1%) were widely spread around schools.
4) All these three groups recognized that the most harmful environments around schools were the shops which were related to sex.
5) Students have ever entered the electric game room(71.6%), the internet game room(75.6%) and the karaoke(71.6%). The 8.5% of students have the experience of having entered the public house and the 305 of them have been to a hotel.
6) Only 17.2% of students have, once or twice, been restrained from entering a .harmful shop by the storekeeper. Teachers eagerly want the law and regulations for the guidance of students to be established.
